Gothic-style frieze made to match a Gothic-style canopied mirror frame.
The frieze plates were moulded and cast to match the existing frame, and fitted with a slight projection from the wall, in order to give the required amount of shadow behind the frieze.
This was part of an extensive conservation project at this Dorset country house.
